Parker McCumber joined the active duty Army out of High School. 
He attended Basic Combat Training (BCT) at Fort Jackson, South Carolina in the Summer of 2011. 
Following his graduation from BCT Parker attended the French Basic Course at the Defense Language Institute in Monterey California. 
After graduating from the French Basic Program, Parker attended his Advanced Individual Training (AIT) at Fort Sill, Oklahoma for military occupational specialty (MOS) 13F Fire Support Specialist. 

In 2012 Parker was assigned to the 4th Squadron, 2nd Cavalry Regiment serving in Vilseck, Germany. While Serving with this unit as a Forward Observer, Parker was deployed to Kandahar, Afghanistan in 2013-2014. 

Following redeployment to Germany, Parker was assigned to serve with the 1st Cavalry Division out of Fort Hood, Texas. Parker successfully completed a Korea Rotation while serving with the 3-16th Field Artillery Regiment as a part of his time with 1st Cavalry Division. 

In 2016 Parker transitioned to the Utah National Guard, where he served as a Targeting NCO while he began attending Utah Valley University (UVU). While enrolled at UVU, Parker joined their ROTC program and upon graduation commissioned as a Field Artillery Officer in the National Guard. 

After commissioning, Parker attended the Field Artillery Officer Basic Leaders Course at Fort, Sill Oklahoma. 

Parker is still serving in the National Guard as a Field Artillery Officer, While working full time as the owner of Service First Products™. Parker served as a Fire Direction Officer from 2019-2022
